1. What Data We Collect and Why

Local Save Data (Always Active)

Your game progress (gem collection, XP, gold, run history, and settings preferences) is saved locally on your device's internal storage.

This allows you to resume your game where you left off. This local data remains on your device and is not sent anywhere unless you sign in with Google Play Games.

Google Play Games Services (Optional, Android Only)

• Your Google Play Games account ID is used to authenticate you with Google Play Games Services.
• Your save progress is synced to your Google account in the cloud so you can play across multiple devices without losing your save data.
• Achievement unlocks and gameplay event counters are submitted to Google Play Games Services.

You can sign out of Google Play Games at any time from the game settings or the Google Play Games app to stop cloud sync.

Crash & Error Reporting (Automatic)

To help us find and fix crashes, the game automatically sends crash reports containing technical details (such as device model, operating system version, and where the crash occurred) to Sentry, a crash reporting tool. No personal data is attached to these reports.

Optional Feedback Form

If you choose to submit feedback through the in-game form, the name, email address, and message you type are sent to Sentry. Nothing is sent unless you choose to fill out and submit the form.

2. What We Do NOT Do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not offer in-app purchases.
• We do not use advertising or marketing tracking tools.
• We do not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or other sensitive device permissions.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties beyond the Google Play Games Services and Sentry integrations described above.

3. Permissions We Request

Gembound requests Network/Internet Access on Android. This is needed to sync saves with Google Play Games, report crashes, and send feedback if you choose to. We do not ask for any other permissions.

4. Children's Privacy

Gembound does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The optional feedback form and Google Play Games sign-in are actions that should be initiated by or with the consent of a parent or guardian.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we change how the game handles data in a future update, we will update this policy and change the Effective Date above before releasing the new version.
